Very recently, I went to an anime convention taking place in Toronto, Ontario. Buying a weekend pass after painfully forking over $55.00, I realized that I ended up buying way too many buttons and paid to have my self-esteem crushed... All 3 days.

Honestly, after looking at the prints available in the artist's gallery (or whatever it was called), I felt like bowing down to them and saying, "I'm sorry for ever saying my drawings were pretty good." I think I spent about... *Calculating* A little over $30.00 in the artist gallery alone.

And so after realizing how inferior I was compared to all those artists down at Anime North, I decided to practice drawing and using Adobe photoshops in the hopes that I may gain at least 1/2 of the skills I witnessed on that painful weekend. Of course, I will have to practice with the only kind of drawing I have a drop of confidence in: anime-style chibis (not that I've ever seen chibis in any other style).

Creating a deviant account, I have put up 2 of the "poster drawings" I have completed. I have at least 4 more that I'm making in order to hone the tiny amount of skills I have.

Ha... On a completely unrelated note, this is my first journal entry (as if the title didn't say that already), so I have no idea what I'm supposed to put here either.
